It is characterized by a very elegant and harmonious aerodynamic profile with a flat and wide fuselage and two vertical tail fins. The Mig 29 is armed with a 30 mm. gun in the port wing root and it can adopt a wide variety of air-to-air missiles ad the AA-8 Aphid, the AA-10 Alamo and the AA-11 Archer. It is widely used by the Russian Air Force and by the most part of Easter European Countries Air Forces.
